The Story of Yasui Hall

Opened in 2023, Yasui Hall features apartment-style living for students who want to live on campus after their first year. Their are single micro-studio units for independent living, and four-bedroom quad options for students who want to live with friends. The UO Board of Trustees voted to officially name the building Yasui Hall in 2024 in honor of siblings Minoru, Michi, Shu (Robert) and Yuka. A dedication ceremony was held on May 4, 2025.
